My name is Lauren Bayle. Born and raised in Raleigh NC, I am a recent college graduate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington where I received my degree in Digital Arts with a concentration in Interactive Graphics. I also double minored in Computer Science and Business.
I’ve always had an active imagination from a young age and I’ve always had a fascination with creating and bringing things to life, specifically when it comes to experiences found in theme parks. I initially got interested in digital art media in middle school through video editing which became my main hobby for years. Throughout those years I taught myself multiple different editing software packages and took that experience and knowledge with me into college. Through college, I was able to learn different skills and various digital art software packages spanning from programming languages to photography to computer animation. I also gained greater knowledge of art history as well as a greater understanding and skillset with traditional art mediums. Post-grad, I embarked on a journey to expand my skills past what I studied in college as I realized how big my desire was to be a supporting and watchful eye on a project. I earned a CAPM certification through Project Management Institute to start slightly pivoting my career into a project management and producing direction. I love the idea of having my toes dipped in all aspects of a project, looking into the twists and turns of the business side of projects, while also using my background in digital arts and software to be able to communicate with people of many different disciplines.
My passion for storytelling & blending creativity and new technology to create experiences for people to enjoy has been the main driving force for the career I am pursuing.
